ACROSS THE MUSEUM

Dive into a full day of fun across your Museum to celebrate World Whale Day.

Our incredible sperm whale has hung within what is now the Living Worlds gallery for almost 130 years, so we thought it was about time we threw a celebration in honour of this beautiful behemoth.

You’ll be able to enjoy a whale-themed trail, whale crafts with artist Lydia Meiying in the Top Floor Classroom 12-4pm, and screenings of The Snail and the Whale throughout the day in the Kanaris Theatre.

There will also be an opportunity to meet the team from whale and dolphin charity ORCA and take part in a unique competition to name our whale.
