• Why Manchester Museum*? What has drawn you to seek a placement / internship specifically at Manchester Museum?

• What skills / experience you would be hoping to gain from a placement?*

• What area of the museum’s work / collections are you interested in? How does this match the skills / experience you are seeking?

• What are your preferred / specific dates / availability for the placement / internship? Would this be part time / full time? Do you have a start / end date?

If you are unsure what skills you are looking to develop, we encourage you to look at relevant job descriptions and think about the areas you’d need to develop to meet their criteria.

Once we have your responses, they will be shared with colleagues for consideration. Please note that we are currently unable to support paid placements or internships. While you may be able to apply for financial support from your institution, we are unfortunately unable to provide any travel/subsistence/bursary for students directly through the Museum.
