Museum Café

Museum Café is on the ground floor and can be accessed through our Main Hall or from Oxford Road.

We are delighted to announce that along with a brand new kitchen, we also have exciting new Breakfast/Brunch and Lunch hot food menus.

The café serves freshly prepared and locally sourced food and drinks.

Coffee Bar

MAIN HALL, GROUND FLOOR

Coffee Bar offers expertly made barista coffees, speciality teas and a selection of light snacks throughout the day.

Open from 10am, it’s the perfect place to sit and plan a day of exploring the galleries or to enjoy a quick, mid-visit pick-me-up before continuing on your journey.

MAIN HALL, GROUND FLOOR

Situated off the Main Hall the Museum’s Picnic Area is a dedicated space provide visitors to enjoy their packed lunches, and includes amenities like tables, microwaves, work surfaces, a sink and bins. The area is decorated to complement the Museum Café, which is also located nearby.

Food Policy

We encourage visitors to bring and use their own reusable cups and water bottles. There is a water refill station on the ground floor.

Please enjoy food and drink in the Museum Café, Main Hall and picnic area, but do not take food or drinks into the galleries or collections spaces. In this way you will be helping us to look after our collections, keeping them free from pests, preserving them for generations to come.
