THE CARLTON CLUB, WHALLEY RANGE
MIXED? showcases a collection of collages created during workshops for people who identify as/with mixed-race at Manchester Museum led by artist Michelle Olivier. The project focussed on identity, representation, community and belonging.
The exhibition runs at the Carlton Club in Whalley Range from Thursday 3 September to Wednesday 14 October and can be visited during opening hours:
Monday-Thursday: 4-11pm
Friday: 3pm-1am
Saturday: 12pm-1am
Sunday: 12pm-12am
Join them for the launch of the exhibition on Thursday 3 September, 6-8pm. There will be an introduction from participant and exhibition curator Owen Mills and artist Michelle Olivier, along with opportunities to enjoy readings from workshop participants, as well as the artworks presented.
