Connect through music at your Museum.

Join us for Singing for the Brain, a welcoming and uplifting singing group, delivered in collaboration with the Alzheimer's Society.

Singing is a wonderful way to bring people together. It can stimulate brain activity, support wellbeing and lift our mood. You don't need to be a good singer or have any previous singing experience to take part – just come along and enjoy yourself!

Singing for the Brain is an evidence-based initiative that uses the power of music and familiar songs to help people living with dementia and their carers connect with one another. Each session offers opportunities for memory stimulation, social interaction and shared enjoyment in a safe, friendly and welcoming environment.

Whether you love singing or simply enjoy listening to music, everyone is welcome. Sessions take place monthly on a Monday, 11am-12.30pm.

Upcoming sessions

  • Monday 22 March

  • Monday 12 April

  • Monday 24 May

  • Monday 14 June
