FREE | Book online

KANARIS THEATRE, FLOOR 2

Play is something to be cherished throughout our lives, around the world and across time. Join us for a play-based workshop and story sharing session to consider how play effects how we learn throughout our lives.

Join Charlotte Derry, Playful Places, who will discuss our human and universal play patterns and preferences and Alexandra P Alberda, Curator of Indigenous Perspectives, who will share our Dadikwakwa-kwa Come Out to Play! stories, along with some special guests.

Be prepared to be playful and to create.

About the series

Manchester Museum aims to connect communities locally and globally to forge a more inclusive, hopeful future.

(Playful) Common ground is a public event hosted by Manchester Museum, in collaboration with the University of Manchester, that will delve even deeper into some of the issues raised by our partnership work with our international partners.

This series is part of the University’s support for lifelong, flexible learning, aimed at supporting people’s aspirations and learning needs at every stage of their lives. Through public events, we aim to provide access to a Manchester education for all.
