Gender and the Roles We're Shaped By

SOUTH ASIA GALLERY, FLOOR 1

Manchester Museum is pleased to host South Asian Heritage Trust for the third session in their Listening Circle series.

This month’s theme explores gender roles and expectations within our families and communities. Many of us grow up with certain ideas about responsibility, behaviour, and identity. This session offers a chance to reflect on those experiences in an open and respectful setting.

The Listening Circle provides a small, guided space for thoughtful conversation. Participants are welcome to speak, listen, or simply observe. There is no pressure to share, and the focus remains on listening rather than debate.

South Asian experiences are centred in this series, and everyone is welcome to attend.
