Try your hand at Chinese ink painting in one of our family-friendly sessions.

We’re joining forces with Chinese Art Zone Manchester for a day-long celebration of this traditional artform, which will be perfect for families, art lovers and curious creatives of all ages.

Chinese Art Zone Manchester is an art hub based in Palfrey with 15 years of experience nurturing creativity and cultural exchange. Established in the UK in 2010, Chinese Art Zone offers a vibrant range of activities including painting, piano, flute, guzheng, and tai chi, with a particular passion for sharing the beauty of Chinese painting.

Throughout the day, you’ll be able to enjoy:

• A stunning display of Chinese ink artworks in our Top Floor Classroom.

• Free drop-in workshops led by experienced artists and volunteers to try traditional techniques and create your own artwork to take home.

Whether you’re discovering ink painting for the first time or looking to deepen your appreciation of Chinese art, this event is a wonderful chance to explore creativity together.

Sessions run 10am-12pm and 1-3pm.
