Exhibition info

Triceratops: Eat, Roam, Repeat gives you the chance to meet one of the most iconic dinosaurs of all time.

By studying its anatomy, you’ll find out its secrets. From the bird-like beak and spectacular frill to its three-horned face and rhino-like body. Learn how it lived, what it ate and how it survived the Cretaceous.

It starts with an atmospheric glimpse into the world that Triceratops once inhabited, evoking the sights, sounds and creatures of the time. You’ll then be encouraged to think like a palaeontologist, studying this incredible prehistoric animal to reveal fascinating stories from the distant past.

Junior palaeontologists will have fun with a series of hands-on, interactive elements, including a digital touch replica of the Triceratops skull that will allow visitors to feel its facial features to find out more about each one, as well as a fossil dig.

And at the heart of it all is the rare, 1.9–metre-long skull, in Manchester for a limited time only.
