Heritage Futures

14 December 2018

The Heritage Futures exhibition explored how heritage is not just about the past but also about shaping the future, inspired by a research project of the same name.

“The future is not some place we are going to, but one we are creating. the paths are not to be found, but made…”

It proposed new ideas about what constitutes heritage by looking at four key themes: the present, the past, the future, and the environment. It asked visitors how they can actively shape the future, rather than just passively consume heritage.
