Sounds of the Season
with Ordsall Acappella Singers and Olympias Music Foundation
Savour the sounds of the season during an evening of joyous, festive music.
The Museum will be filled with celebratory song as part of our Christmas festivities, with opportunities to get stuck in or just take it all in.
Sing your heart out as part of Stanta’s festive choir in Stanta’s Big Singalong, when Ordsall Acappella Singers join us in the Fossils Gallery to lead the choir under the watchful eye of ‘Stanta Claws’ (our beloved Tyrannosaurus rex, Stan, wearing his Santa hat).
It’s part of our annual Christmas gift appeal, Stan’s Secret Santa, so we’d love it if you could drop by with a donation for our chosen charities Barnabus and Mustard Tree prior to exercising your vocal cords. Ordsall Acappella Singers will be with us 6-8pm.
You can also take in the annual Christmas concert from the young students of Olympias Music Foundation, 6.30-7.30pm in our Living Worlds gallery. It’ll be a wonderful celebration of all these talented children have achieved throughout the year and let us just warn you, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house at last year’s edition. So come prepared with a pack of tissues!
