Triceratops Uncovered

This is your big chance to come face-to-face with the awesome Triceratops before we throw open the doors to our new show.

Be the first to join us on an exclusive journey into the Cretaceous, and discover the life of this prehistoric icon with insights from our very own dino experts.

Not only will you get an early opportunity to explore the exciting new exhibition, Triceratops: Eat, Roam, Repeat, but you’ll also have the chance to meet Nidia Alvarez Armada, the Museum’s Curator of Earth Sciences. Nidia will be bringing out fascinating fossils and specimens from the Museum’s stores, special pieces that are rarely seen by the public.

You’ll also get to meet palaeontologist and author Dr Dean Lomax face-to-face. It’s your opportunity to ask a palaeontologist anything you’ve ever wanted to know about dinosaurs and fossil discoveries, and even get your copy of his book signed.

Get ready for an evening packed with discovery, stories, and prehistoric wonder. An unforgettable first look at Manchester Museum’s newest exhibition.

This event is family-friendly and designed especially for children aged 4–11, though all ages are very welcome to join in the fun.
