Garland making - rickshaw workshop
Join artist Daya Bhatti to help make decorations for our beautiful new rickshaw.
Add your unique touch to a collaborative masterpiece that will adorn the magnificent rickshaw, reflecting on the themes of love/care, nostalgia, diverse community and British Asian identity.
Suitable for adults and children aged 10 and above. We are holding two workshops on Wednesday 21 February, 11am-1pm and 2-4pm.

The rickshaw forms part of the programme for the Museum’s South Asia Gallery. The decorative artwork is inspired by conversations about shared themes of love, joy and British Asian identity. Once fully decorated this rickshaw will start a journey across Greater Manchester, taking up residence at venues across the region.
