Gallery closures and redevelopments

Our exciting building project hello future is starting and part of our museum will be closing. During this time, our new entrance is through our Fossils Gallery.

As we are working towards our three year transformation hello future some of our galleries may be affected and some of our objects are moving to make way for our exciting transformation as we aim to become the UK’s most imaginative, inclusive and caring museum

For further information please visit our Hello Future blog or follow #MMhellofuture

For the duration of this development the following galleries will be closed

Our Minerals and Meteorite gallery remain open although they are also affected with many objects off display

Please note that galleries may occasionally have to close at short notice
