Important Update: 23 October 2020
Manchester Museum is now open to the public between 11-4 from Wednesday to Sundays.
Self-led visits: Given the current COVID-19 situation and to help keep pupils, students, staff and the public safe we are unable to accommodate self-led visits from school and college parties. We will review this decision again when we are able to move out of tier three restrictions. We will look to review this decision half termly and hope to welcome school / college group visitors back as soon as it is safe to do so.
Museum PCR workshops for secondary and post-16 groups and the Inflatable Museum: Given the current COVID-19 situation and to help keep pupils, students and staff safe, we are not able to run onsite workshop activities or any inflatable museum outreach activities for nurseries, schools and colleges until further notice. At the earliest, we hope that the situation will be safe enough in March 2021 to be able to start taking provisional bookings for sessions taking place after the Easter break. However, with such an uncertain and fast-changing situation, we have made the difficult decision that we will not take any bookings for onsite workshop or inflatable museum outreach sessions until further notice.
Please do check the website again next spring for further updates on our plans for relaunching our learning programme.
