Group bookings

A group is 10 or more people.

Please make a booking request as far in advance as your visit as possible. You may need to wait up to two weeks for a response about a bespoke tour.

Please note, if you are enquiring about a primary school, college or higher education group visit, please visit our schools pages to book your group in.

You can book up to 10 tickets to our special exhibition Triceratops: Eat, Roam, Repeat here. If there are more than 10 people in your group wishing to visit the exhibition, please contact us via the button below.

Tours

With advance booking we may be able to provide your group with a special 45-minute tour led by our wonderful Visitor Team for the cost of £10 per person or £13 per person including a souvenir guidebook each.

Please let us know by contacting us using the button below if you’re interested in a particular theme or general highlights of our collections.

The minimum charge for a tour will be £150 (guidebook not included).

As one of the UK’s largest university museums, we care for over 4.5 million objects, with an internationally-important collection spanning from Archaeology to Zoology, and nearly everything in between. We work with communities, support university students and schools in Manchester and beyond and we are a free, inclusive museum for all. But we need your help. Every object we care for, exhibition, school visit and community event comes at a cost, and you can help make the museum as ambitious and impactful as possible.
