Gallery closures and redevelopments
So we can make some improvements to our Ancient Worlds galleries, parts of Ancient Worlds will be closed on the following dates:
Mon 15 Apr-Wed 1 May 2013: Discovering Archaeology gallery will be closed
Mon 15 Jul-Fri 9 Aug 2013: Egyptian Worlds gallery will be closed
To mark the 50th anniversary of its original opening, we will soon be redeveloping our Vivarium (Live Animals) gallery.
The gallery will close on 22 July 2013 and re-open in Autumn 2013.
The new gallery will look at themes such as human impact on the natural world (rainforest biodiversity and deforestation), local and global reptiles and amphibians, how humans help these animals and how these animals help humans.
During this time there will also be no lift access to Nature's Library.
