October half-term workshops
Join Manchester Museum this October half-term to celebrate the art of nature.
Though it is getting colder, the leaves are falling and everyone is getting ready for winter, autumn is an important (but overlooked) time for the natural world.
Inspired by our Living Worlds and Nature’s Library galleries, take part in a free, drop-in craft activity designed to highlight nature this season.
These are free, family activities and will take place in our Top Floor Classroom each day, Wednesday 25 October to Friday 27 October, 2-4pm. Please note that there is limited capacity in this activity and we tend to be busiest during the first hour (2-3pm), which may mean you have to queue for entry.
Wednesday 25 October and Thursday 26 October: Design your own 3D woodland scene using recycled cardboard. Led by artist Lydia Meiying.
Friday 27 October: Make the birds in Manchester Museum’s collection fly again as you craft your own mobile inspired by our feathered friends. Led by artist EvaD.
