We encourage all teachers to participate in training sessions. Come and meet us before a visit to ensure the best outcome for your class in learning and enjoyment.

Teachers Pack - Dinosaur Detectives Session
The pack contains essential pre-visit information and suggested post-visit activities for the Dinosaur Detectives Discovery Session. It also details things to bring on the day.
Teacher's Pack - Unearthed: Ancient Egypt Session.
The school session involves pupils gaining basic archeology skills to find out more about Ancient Egypt under the instruction of Dr Digby. The pack contains practical and background information related to your visit and essential pre-visit work aimed at facilitating the integration of your visit to The Manchester Museum into a larger scheme of work.
Teacher's Pack - Myths and Monsters
This pack contains a set of activities to help teachers and children use the Museum's collection to create hero characters, monsters and collect elements of a quest/adventure story. It has been designed to support Literacy Units (Year 3, Narrative Unit 2 - Myths and Legends and Year 5 - Narrative Unit - Traditional stories, fables, myths, legends) but can also be used more generally.
