Information For Teachers
With over 4 million objects in its collection, reflecting all life on earth, The Manchester Museum provides a unique opportunity for your pupils. Our new programme offers a range of different activities to help make the most of the Museum.
The following downloadable PDFs provide information aimed at helping you make the most of your visit. The sheets cover how to book, find the Museum, plan your visit and a guide to what will happen on the day. There are also links to PDF versions of the Museum risk assessments.

Planning Sessions for Teachers on Self-guided Visits
Planning sessions will be held on the first Tuesday of each month between 3.30 and 4.45pm giving teachers an opportunity to plan with a member of our Learning Team. These are designed for teachers bringing self-guided groups of up to 60 pupils. We ask that all self-guided groups book their slot on the galleries to prevent overcrowding. Book your group and your place on training by telephoning our Bookings Coordinator on 0161 275 2630.
