For Early Years Practitioners

A fantastic publication, Close Encounters With Culture pdf (PDF 851k), that explores how Museum and Galleries can support the EFYS.
It provides ideas and activities for visits and fun things to do back in your settings, ways to involve parents and an excellent resources list.
It also shares exciting case studies between Manchester based museums and galleries and local SureStart centres.
You can use the publication to plan your visit.

Early Years Projects with Sure Start Children Centres - Imagine Their Shadows
