Temple

One of the discoveries made during the ROM excavations was the temple. Previously this area in front of the acropolis had been called the 'guardhouse', probably following the idea that the acropolis mansion was the Pharoah's house. The positioning of the column bases and what was visible of the floor layout is reminiscent of many other Middle Kingdom temples, especially that at the fortress of Buhen.
