Identification
You can bring your mystery object to the Resource Centre on Floor 3 of the Museum for our free identification service. Whether it is a coin, an unusual rock, or something else you can leave it for our specialists to identify for you. Please note we do not give valuations. The Resource Centre is open Monday-Friday only, unfortunately we can't carry out identifications during the weekend.
Vanessa Oakden, the Portable Antiquities Scheme's Finds Liaison Officer, will be at The Manchester Museum on the third Friday of each month.
